Noteworthy Collaborations

Just for fun, here's a list of fantastic collaborations that may not be that well known to many of you. Enjoy, and please go purchase the full song if you enjoy the links...

1. Laura Pausini - Primavera In Anticipo (It Is My Song) [Duet With James Blunt]: The majority of the song is in Italian, but for a while iTunes was actually giving away the Spanish version as well.

2. Sinik - Je RĂ©alise (Feat. James Blunt): Again James Blunt proves himself capable of working with just about anyone. I love the song but the video makes me laugh a bit because of how serious and angry JB tries to look. Still, it's a brillian collab. overall.

3. Black Eyed Peas - Anxiety (Feat. Papa Roach): On a more familiar footing we have a collab. between BEP, and Papa Roach, which I think is actually one of the best tracks either band has ever released given the styles they incorporate.

4. Barenaked Ladies - Elf's Lament (Feat. Michael Buble): With the holiday season upon us, this seems a fitting choice. The song is rather comical and is not Buble's usual style so it's definately worth a listen.

5. Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) - Hero (Feat. Josey Scott of Saliva): This was released on the first SPider Man Movie's soundtrack and is still one of thebest anthems I've heard in years.

6. Enrique Iglesias - Push (Feat. Lil Wayne): A far cry from the artist who once sung "Hero", Push shows a much heavier side of Iglesias when mixed with Weezy.

7. Hurt - World Aint Right (Feat. Shaun Morgan of Seether): Reminiscent of Seether's "Broken" style, Shaun's vvoice blends nicely with that of Hurt's J. Loren Wince.

8. Jay-Z - Beach Chair (Feat. Chris Martin of Coldplay): This unusual collaboration later led to a second collaboration on the Prospekts March version of "LOST!"

9. Jeff Beck - I Put A Spell On You (Feat. Joss Stone): Just plain and simple, I've never heard this song done this well by anyone.

10. P.O.D. - Goodbye For Now (Feat. Katy Perry): Most rock fans know this track from a few years back, but unless you pay close attention to the end of the video you may have missed the fact that Katy Perry made an appearance on the track before she made it big in mainstream music.

11. Run DMC - Rock Show (Feat. Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind): Just a fun collab overall.

12. Saliva - My Own Worst Enemy (Feat. Brent Smith of Shinedown): Brent seems to get around a lot. He also makes appearances on albums by Apocalyptica, and Theory of a Deadman among others.
