Tip Twelve: Labels

When looking to sign to a label, you want to be very careful. Large well-known labels are great for spreading your music around the country, but if you want more creative control you may want to consider an indie label. Indie labels are also generally less likely to drop you if you aren't selling ass well as they would like, and they will probably have more time to work with you on an individual basis than a major label would.
